L-tyrosine from NOW Foods at 500 mg per capsule, in its free form and at pharmaceutical grade. Tyrosine is a conditionally essential amino acid, used in producing the neurotransmitters dopamine, adrenaline and noradrenaline, and in forming the pigment melanin.
