Common questions about this category
What is the difference between marine collagen and multi-source collagen?
Marine collagen is extracted from fish, and the source is stated on the label. Packs named “Multi Collagen” list their sources in the ingredient list — in this category the listed sources include bovine, chicken, fish and eggshell membrane. Read that list on the product page; the name on its own does not tell you the sources.
What is the difference between collagen peptides and undenatured type II (UC-II)?
Peptides are hydrolysed collagen and usually come as a powder. “Undenatured Type II” is processed differently and comes here in capsules. Each is named on its own label, and their amounts are stated on different bases, so they are not directly comparable.
Powder, capsules or tablets?
This category carries all three. The form is printed on every pack and shown on the product page, and the “Form” filter at the top of the category shows which of them are in stock. Serving size and directions are on each pack’s own label.
How do I read the amount on a collagen pack?
Powders state the amount per scoop; capsules and tablets state it per serving. Each pack’s facts table gives both its amount per serving and its number of servings, and both figures belong to that pack specifically. When comparing two packs, read both figures from the table rather than inferring them from the net weight.
