Common questions about this category

What is the difference between vitamin D3 and vitamin D2?

D3 appears on the label as cholecalciferol and D2 as ergocalciferol — two different substances, not two names for one. This category carries both, and the ingredient list on each product page shows which one it contains.

Why is the amount sometimes in international units (IU) and sometimes in micrograms?

Because labels differ in the unit they use, and some print both for the same nutrient. The product page shows the figure exactly as the label writes it, without converting, so before comparing two packs make sure the unit is the same.

What is the difference between vitamin K2 (MK-7) and vitamin K1?

K1 appears on labels as phylloquinone or phytonadione and K2 as menaquinone, with MK-7 a specific form of K2 that is named explicitly on the pack. This category carries K2 as MK-7 and also a pack stating K1; the label is the reference.

Which forms are available in this category?

Capsules, veg capsules, softgels, tablets, lozenges, gummies, liquids and powder. The “Form” filter at the top of the category shows which are available right now, and the serving size is on each pack’s own label.
